Privacy Policy
How Grande collects, uses and protects your information.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Grande (“Grande”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Grande is a tool for running ER:LC communities on Discord. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have when you use our website, dashboard and Discord bot (together, the “Service”).
The short version: we collect only what Grande needs to work. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t read your Discord messages.
This policy covers what Grande collects today. As we add features, we’ll update it before anything new that collects data goes live.
2. Operator
Grande is operated by Valley Customs, an independent community project run by a single developer (jaydenthedev). Valley Customs is not a registered company.
For server panels, the server’s owner and its administrators decide how their community uses the information in their panel. We process that information only to run the Service for them.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Discord sign-in
When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar, and the list of Discord servers you are in. For each server we get its name, ID, icon, banner and member count, so we can show the servers you manage when you create a panel. We do not ask for your email address or password, and we can’t read your messages.
3.2 Roblox linking (optional)
If you link Roblox, we store your Roblox user ID, username, display name, profile link and avatar image link, plus the date you linked. You can unlink at any time from your account settings.
3.3 Server panels
When you create a panel, we store its name and description, its Discord server details (ID, name, icon, banner, member count) and community ID. We also store its settings, roles, members, join requests, ownership changes and plan status, along with the owner’s and members’ Discord profile details shown inside the panel. Plan status includes whether the panel has Grande⁺, until when, and who or what granted it.
3.4 Audit logs
If a panel turns audit logging on, we record changes made in it: who made the change (ID, username, display name, avatar), what changed and when. Audit logs are append-only so a server’s history stays reliable.
3.5 ER:LC server keys
If you connect an ER:LC server, you give us its server key. Grande stores it encrypted, never shows it again after you enter it and never writes it to logs. It is used only to read your server and perform actions for features you turn on. You can replace or remove your key at any time, and removing it deletes it.
3.6 The Grande bot
The bot currently counts how many servers it is in and their total member count, to show the numbers on our homepage. It does not store your messages or personal details.
3.7 Cookies and logs
We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It is secure and HTTP-only, and lasts up to 7 days. It holds your login details, including the Discord access token we use to refresh your profile. Logging out removes it. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Our web server may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
3.8 Payments
When you buy Grande⁺, you are sent to Stripe’s secure checkout page. Stripe collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy, and we never see or store your card number. We store the panel’s Stripe customer and subscription IDs, the plan you chose, its status, the renewal date and whether it is set to cancel, plus a short list of recent payment event IDs so the same event is not applied twice. Payment confirmations from Stripe are what switch Grande⁺ on or off for a panel.
3.9 ER:LC server data and playtime
If you connect an ER:LC server, Grande reads its player list and logs through the ER:LC API. This includes players’ Roblox names and IDs, teams, callsigns, in-game location, join and leave logs, kill logs, command logs, moderator calls and vehicles. Staff with access can see this live in the moderator panel. Grande also keeps playtime per player per day for about 13 months, plus each player’s most recent team, callsign and position, so it can show activity and playtime.
3.10 Sessions
When staff run sessions, Grande records for each session when it started and ended, who started and ended it, the area of play, the unique player IDs seen, the peak player count, and how many commands and moderator calls happened. The unique player IDs are used for the charts and are removed after about 90 days, and the session summaries are kept for the most recent 200 sessions. For session polls, Grande reads who reacted with ✅ to its own poll message so it can count votes and, if you choose, mention those people when the session starts. Grande also stores the channel, roles and message layouts you set for session messages.
4. How we use your information
- To sign you in, show your servers and run the features you use.
- To keep Grande safe, stop abuse and fix problems.
- To answer your support tickets.
We don’t sell your data and we don’t use it for advertising.
5. Third-party services
- Discord and Roblox handle sign-in and linking. Their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.
- Stripe processes payments for Grande⁺. Its own privacy policy applies to the payment details it collects.
- Hyperping checks whether Grande is online for our public status page at status.grandevc.xyz. It only contacts public Grande addresses and does not receive your personal data.
- Google Fonts loads the site’s fonts, so your browser contacts Google when you visit.
- Avatars and server icons are loaded from Discord’s and Roblox’s image servers.
Grande runs on a machine we control rather than a third-party cloud host.
6. Sharing of information
- Other people in a panel can see the profile details and activity shown in that panel, based on the panel’s settings.
- Stripe receives what is needed to take your payment for Grande⁺.
- Grande’s developer can access stored data only as needed to run, support and protect the Service.
- Others only if the law requires it or to protect people from serious harm.
7. Data retention
We keep your data while your account or panels are in use, and for as long as needed to run and protect the Service. Audit entries are kept so a panel’s history stays accurate. Unique player IDs from sessions are removed after about 90 days and playtime after about 13 months. Records of Grande⁺ payments are kept as long as needed for accounting and to settle disputes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
8. Security of your information
- The website is served over HTTPS, so what you send and receive is encrypted in transit.
- You sign in through Discord and Roblox, so we never see your passwords.
- Login cookies are signed, secure, HTTP-only and expire after 7 days.
- Our server checks permissions for each action, and staff tools are limited to a short list of approved accounts.
- ER:LC server keys are encrypted when stored.
No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your accounts protected and reset your ER:LC key if you think it has been exposed. If you find a security problem, please tell us privately by opening a ticket in our Discord server.
9. Your choices and deleting your data
- Log out to clear your login cookie.
- Cancel Grande⁺ any time from Manage billing in your panel settings.
- Unlink Roblox from your account settings to remove that link.
- Remove Grande’s access to your Discord account in your Discord settings under Authorized Apps.
- Ask us to delete or correct your data by joining our Discord server and opening a ticket. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights over your information, and we’ll honor valid requests.
10. Children’s privacy
Grande is for people 13 and older. If we learn that someone under 13 has used Grande, we’ll delete their data.
11. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy as Grande adds features, including bot features such as moderation logs, staff shifts and Roblox verification. The “last updated” date above will change when we do.
